Why we made them.
Sweat itself has very little smell. The odor comes later, once it settles into the fabric and builds up wear after wear. The usual answers are powders, sprays, soaks and fragrances. They sit on top of the problem, they wear off, and every one of them adds a step to your day.
We wanted the sock to handle it on its own. That is the entire idea behind the brand, and it is the only thing we make socks for.
How they work.
The odor-control finish is incorporated into the yarn rather than sprayed onto the surface. It works while the sock is being worn, instead of covering odor after it has developed, and there is nothing to reapply.
Independent laboratory testing commissioned by Funkless found that the odor-control performance remained effective after 300 washes. We describe this as odor control. We do not present the socks as a medical treatment.
Two cuts, same blend.
Funkless Crew Socks have a classic mid-calf profile suited to work boots, everyday shoes and long days. Funkless Quarter Socks finish just above the ankle for a lower profile with sneakers and casual footwear.
Both cuts use the same 85% cotton, 12% polyester and 3% spandex blend, and each comes in two unisex size ranges and twelve colors.
